Regional and agricultural museum Goemanszorg is situated on the edge of the picturesque village Dreischor. During a visit you will experience the rural farm life from the beginning of the last century until the fifties. The museum consists of a fully furnished farmhouse and a collection of old agricultural and traditional tools. Also visit one of the largest vineyards of the Netherlands, Wijnhoeve De Kleine Schorre! The authentic barn from 1735 is one of the oldest barns of Dreischor and now serves as a restaurant and tasting room.
Het Watersnoodmuseum is a place where you can experience what happened during the flood in 1953. The museum is located in Ouwerkerk on the spot where the last hole in the dikes was closed. The four cassions of the museum each have their own theme, aimed at remembering, learning and looking forward. An audio tour takes you back in time.
