Enjoy on the water
With a coastline of 650 kilometers in total, water is always close in Zeeland. Within fifteen minutes you will find it somewhere. Zeeland is clearly connected to the sea. You can see that in the landscape, but also in the various sights. Enough reasons to come visit Zeeland!

Spot porpoises
National Park Oosterschelde is located in and around the water, the Oosterschelde. Here you can spot porpoises during the safari on excursion boat De Onrust or admire the many seals on the sandbanks. There is also plenty to see under the sea level. Because of the unique underwater life, the Oosterschelde is the ideal place for divers.

Grevelingenmeer
Grevelingenmeer is the largest saltwater lake in Western Europe. Through a rich underwater life it is a popular dive site. Because of the combination of wind and calm inland water, this is also the hotspot for kayaking, sailing and windsurfing.

The Deltaroute
The Delta route is a route of 148 kilometers that takes you across the Oosterscheldekering, Grevelingendam and Oesterdam. The Delta Works serve to protect the area against the water. The Oosterscheldekering is the most impressive construction and is also called the eighth wonder of the world. Deltapark Neeltje Jans is located on the island of Neeltje Jans. Here you can see various exhibitions about the construction of the Delta Works.

Snorkel area
Het Koepeltje Scharendijke is a snorkel area with an abundance of flora and fauna. During snorkeling, you will find small crabs, fish and sometimes even a lobster. For children there are playgrounds above the water. There is also a beach with sunbathing area and a marked swimming area

Museum harbor Zeeland
Museum harbor Zeeland can be found in the historic heart of the city Zierikzee. A collection of old ships with behind them a set of stately mansions can be admired at the old harbor. A few steps away is the City & Commercial shipyard where authentic ships are repaired and restored.
